- CREUMHS conducts policy-based research in issues affecting the African Continent on environment, urban management and human settlements with a strong focus on effects of climate change in the continent. The key issues include the focus on climate change in the continent and especially the development of policies on mitigations and sustainable adaptability measures at the highest governtment levels on the effects of climate change in Africa and the development of vunerability assessment techniques applications at central government levels. CREUMHS conducts Vulnerability mapping on all areas within the continent faced with all manner of disasters including drought, flooding, desertification, deforestation and promotes the adoption of possible sustainable measures to arrest the persistent dangers of these disasters.
